In the shop you will meet two names — COMPASS and VOYA. They are not quality tiers, and the more expensive one is not "the better one". They differ in intent.
COMPASS — the wine for the table
COMPASS is the range that looks for balance and ease. Wines that open today, go with food and do not ask you to decode them. Fruit-forward, soft tannins, clear structure.
This is also where the Bag-in-Box formats sit — five litres of wine that stays fresh for weeks after opening. For a long dinner, or for a house where a glass of wine is an everyday thing rather than an occasion.
VOYA — the wine for attention
VOYA is for the wines with a more pronounced character. Longer ageing, fuller structure, more depth. Tamyanka with an intense bouquet of white flowers and Muscat nuances. Syrah with dark forest fruit and black pepper. Merlot that unfolds slowly.
These wines gain from a wider-bowled glass and from fifteen minutes of patience before the first sip.
Which to choose
If the wine is part of dinner — COMPASS. If the wine is dinner — VOYA. Both come from the same vineyards.
